There has been a positive response to a new award scheme for start-up businesses launched in Shropshire.
Leading consultancy Good2Great, who have now helped around 2,000 new enterprises in the county and neighbouring areas over the last decade, are behind the initiative.
Eddie Allan of the Bridgnorth-based firm, said that finalists had now been drawn up and excitement was building in the weeks leading up to the presentation.
“We were delighted with the response to this new award, receiving over 60 nominations, and now hope to make this an annual event,” he said.
“The quality and level of detail, effort and time taken by the entrants to complete was very impressive.
“We have loved reading the business journeys and stories and the shortlisted finalists for each category are really looking forward to finding out the results.”
