New creative enterprise launches in Whitchurch

A new Shropshire enterprise that will help people with disabilities to become more creative has just been launched in Whitchurch.
Hazel Hanslip, who previously worked in further education with young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities, is behind the new ‘Make Create Social’ initiative. “We aim to develop wellbeing through learning contemporary and traditional arts and crafts, focusing on a specific skill and project each session,” explained Hazel, who completed a ‘Start up” programme run by Bridgnorth-based business consultants Good2Great.

A new sustainable retail outlet is hoping for a bright future as it celebrates two milestones.

The Little Green Pantry is the first zero waste shop in Wellington and the 100th to ‘graduate’ from a business support programme run by Bridgnorth consultancy Good2Great.
